They were working perfectly until the power supply stopped working. I had used them as my computer speakers for quite some time, and they sounded fantastic. They have been refoamed, and are ready to run for another 20 years.

They are clean inside and out, and recently have been given a single treatment with retro 0 brute to reduce signs of age. Possible bad capacitors or ICC someone familiar with this sort of thing should be able to repair them. You are buying on a set of Appledesign powered speakers which are being sold as is. I don't know what happened, but there was a strange smell and the power supply quit working. I tried with a different power cable they power on but I can't hear any sound.
