The control pod has been tested and found to be in working condition - however, pots are quite old produced some amount of crackling when turned. Special note: the promedia satellites control pod only cosmetic condition: 8.

I suspect it may be an issue with the rear volume pot as hum goes away surround is turned up. I have cleaned them with an electrical contact cleaner, which remedied the problem, but this is likely a temporary fix. 1 and its successor, v2-4 use different control pods.
