This understood, you can turn-on your music upstairs from the kitchen an iphone. I have this in my detached garage about 40 feet from house and it works well.

It is incredibly easy to set up and works with any wireless device. The sounds is great too.

Perhaps dynamic ip addressing had something to do with the problem. Setup was simple, just read the instructions. A friend can come over and play their iphone via our speaker without problem.

Elegant but it is in the beginning a bit award to set up and keep settings. As with anything, research this device.
